As promised, a treat to make up for the year of no posting.

E3 has been and gone, and a couple of games specifically caught my eye.

The first of these is DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront. Although it doesn’t quite look like the game us Battlefront fans have been dreaming of, it is at least a sequel.

The second of these is Just Cause 3. If anyone reading has yet to enjoy the incredible destruction offered by the game’s two predecessors then you really are missing out; it’s a crazy, ridiculous and superlative-drawing game. This is the one I’m really excited about, and judging by the plethora of videos and interviews coming out, it certainly looks likely to meet even my high expectations.

As a tribute to these two releases, I shall be reviewing each game’s predecessors. I shall tear myself away from Saint’s Row to bring you the casual opinion YOU deserve. The first should be up this week, so come back in a few days to enjoy my review of the first Star Wars Battlefront, as well as more opinions on E3!
